The club competed in the Kent Opens 2006 on 15th October, where Leah & Alex won their solo dance events and came second in the Prelim. and under couples dance event.
The club competed in the Maidstone Opens 2006 on 23rd-24th September, where Leah & Alex came second in the "Inter-Bronze, Bronze and Inter-Silver Couples Dance" event.
Congratulations to our three youngest members for their success at Stratford Park on 10th September 2006. Daniel won his solo event and came second with his sister Hannah in the couples. Charlotte, 7, in her first competition, was thrilled with 3rd place in both her solo events.
The club sent six skaters to compete in the Moonrakers Summer Competition on 14th May, coming away with gold in the novice team event (see photo). Also, Alex won his novice solo dance event, whilst Denise (new to the team) and Leah came third in the junior novelty couples dance.
The club competed in the West Berkshire Open Competition on 6th February. New team member, Leah, won the CCL Trophy in the newcomers' category.

First, it's worth seeing if anyone in the club has a second-hand pair of skates for sale - try the Classifieds section on this website! Alternatively, you could try the following suppliers:
